SUMMARY:

This master's thesis qualification addresses the identification of the determining factors for the success of innovation ecosystems in Germany, especially in the context of digital transformation. The central issue aims to understand the factors that contribute to the success of German innovation ecosystems, specifically in the context of digital transformation. The objectives include identifying these factors, understanding how they interact, and evaluating their impact on the innovation environment. The methodological approach adopted was based on the 6c framework, providing a solid structure for data collection and analysis, with a primary data source. To conduct data collection, the research employed a qualitative approach, using a total of 72 open questions distributed among six interviewee profiles, with an average of 12 questions per profile. In total, 53 interviews were carried out to investigate the key elements that drive innovation in this country. The results obtained reveal a number of key factors that drive innovation ecosystems in Germany, including significant investments in research and development, effective collaboration between companies and academic institutions, favorable government policies and a business culture that values innovation and calculated risk. . Furthermore, the analysis demonstrates how these factors interrelate and reinforce each other, creating an environment conducive to innovation and economic growth. The dissertation conclusions highlight the importance of a holistic approach to developing successful innovation ecosystems, emphasizing the need for collaboration between diverse actors, smart public policies and a dynamic, future-oriented business culture. These findings provide valuable insights for policymakers, business leaders, and others interested in promoting innovation and economic growth in their own regional contexts.
