SUMMARY:

The renewable resources use is on of more efficient form that many countries has adopted aiming soften the climatic changes and the environmental degradation caused by fossil fuels at electricity energy generation. With this, the energy generated by wind energy is one of the natural means that most has grown on global electric sector. Furthermore, many are the challenges that the companies responsible for energy production face during the phase in which the wind farms are in operation, since they are in search for a best productivity at your process, as well as, assure the quality of the energy produced and the reliability of its operations in order to aiming the good functionality of farm with a successful performance. However, the performance of wind farm has linked with many factors that can influence on the working over all operation phase. Therefore, the objective of dissertation is investigated which are the factors that influence on the performance of operation of wind farms and develop a conceptual model that’s helps the managers to understand some of factors that can compromise the good performance of wind farm over the operation phase. The research is characterized with type descriptive, of applied nature, and with qualitative-quantitative approach. The procedure involves: i) traditional review of themes wind energy, measurement and analysis systems of performance, ii) systematic bibliographical review (SBR) with a analyze of 62 publications about the themes factors that influence on the performance of operation of wind farms and evaluation of performance at wind sector, iii) elaboration of framework based on the collected information’s at the theorical search, iv) validation of conceptual framework with experts on the theme and v) results analysis. As result of theorical search the conceptual model was made, 50 factors are identified like conditions of performance at operation of wind farms. The investigated factors were classifieds on seven dimensions: Learning and growth (7); Techniques, tolls and technologies (7); Forecast of weather and wind resource (8); Supply-chain coordination (3); Operational and organizational efficiency (9); Financial management (8); Operation and maintenance performance (8).
