RESUMO:

The textile sector in Brazil is represented as the second largest exporter in the manufacturing industry (ABIT, 2017) being fundamental for its products to reach the final consumer with a better time, quality and quantity delineated. What is a performance analysis process? The challenges of the company in terms of asset management are enormous since the existence of a role is important in organizations through the generation of value, extract them the maximum profitability, ensuring that the safety and risk conditions are sound. The study and application of a management system are indispensable to optimize the management of a business of a company, without having to investigate the challenges of implementing a maintenance plan. Analyzing this scenario, the Dissertation Workshop aimed to identify the critical factors for the implementation of Asset Management in the period of the textile industry, specifically in the apparel sector, through the identification of demand. The requirements of the ABNT NBR ISO 55000 standard for asset management that contribute to the management of the assets of a confection will also be addressed. The evaluation methodology was applied to investigate the progress of the company’s maintenance system and identify the challenges in implementing maintenance asset management.
