RESUMO:

Emergency care using mobile units are significant and great importance throughout the world, especially in large cities. These services are crucial to stabilize the victim's health and save lives in a very short period of time. Increasingly, communication is crucial in collective work activities, especially when it comes to people who work in teams and in urgent and / or highly complex activities, such as the Mobile Emergency Service - SAMU. The work in the emergency service is configured as a collective work process in which a multiprofessional team is responsible for articulating the different actions that involve the care of patients in an emergency situation. Thus, the promotion of teamwork is one of the main skills expected by the professionals that make up the service teams in the management of patient care in emergency situations, aiming at the quality of the service provided. This project will focus on the relationship between communication, cooperation and coordination of the actions of the SAMU team in the city of Natal and its relation with the efficiency of emergency response actions. This project intends to understand "In what way the communication contributes to the cooperation between the members of the SAMU team and their coordination and, consequently, to the understanding of the service situations, the decisions and actions of the team." The hypothesis formulated is that communication is affected and ends up affecting the cooperation and coordination of the team, thus affecting the efficiency of emergency mobile services and causing the occupational stress of the members of the SAMU team. All of this will depend on the team's time of living, the time of experience in the job, the accomplishment or not of training that provides team communication, the complexity of the service and the urgency of the service. This project aims to analyze how the communications of emergency staff members among themselves and between them and other operators interfere in the actions of cooperation and coordination of the emergency team, and impact on the efficiency of emergency mobile service. For that, the method of the Ergonomic Analysis of Work-AET will be adopted. The aim is to contribute to the improvement of the communication processes among the members of the SAMU-Natal team, in order to increase service efficiency and teamwork and, consequently, increase patient safety and minimize occupational stress of team members.
