RESUMO:

There is significant concern around the globe in providing quality health services to the population. As a reflection of this, the World Health Organization stipulated as goal to provide universal access to 1 billion people by 2023. In addition, at the UN meeting of 2015 in New York, an agreement was signed establishing universal access to health as one of the goals for achieving sustainable development. In order to achieve these objectives and goals there is a need to make investments, so that poor people often do not have the financial resources to make these investments in their entirety. This makes systems essential for delivering efficient health care services indispensable, eliminating all unnecessary costs. Among these investments is the acquisition of medical equipment that helps in the treatment and diagnosis of pathologies. As an example, in 2018, Brazil invested approximately R $ 584 million in the acquisition of permanent medical equipment and materials. In this sense, the present study aims to develop a hybrid decision support model for the problem of determining the acquisition of permanent hospital medical equipment. As results of this work the expectation is to assist in the use and prioritization of available resources in an efficient way and in this way contribute to maintenance and increase in the level of service offered. It also hoped to provide a structured, formal and transparent process to assist decision making in the future procurement of permanent equipment.
