RESUMO:

Renewable energies are increasingly evident in the world scenario, since they are a great solution to the growing 

demand for electricity because they have a low environmental impact (despicable, compared to conventional energy

 sources). Brazil, on the other hand, has excellent natural conditions for the exploitation of photovoltaic solar energy,

 which has become increasingly competitive among renewables because of its continuous drop in price. In addition to

 helping in the decision-making process of optimal location of a solar photovoltaic plant in the Brazilian territory, the 

objective of this work is also to obtain an optimal configuration for this plant through the use of Experimental 

DESIGN tools. The comparison will be made through simulations in a photovoltaic solar energy program. At the end 

of the study, it is expected to have an answer about where this optimal location would be and what would be the 

best configuration for this photovoltaic plant, as well as to punctuate the differences between the regions of Brazil 

and to validate the potential of the whole national territory for this type of technology.
