INFLUENCE OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT IN THE RESULTS OF QUALITY INDICATORS IN HIGHER COURSES.
Knowledge management, Quality indicators; Higher education
The use of quality organizational indicators became routine within modern companies, used in some cases as sources of competitive differences between competitors. Among these indicators, considering higher education in Brazil, we highlight the CPC (Preliminary Course Concept), which evaluates variables relevant to the quality of higher education. Tools and techniques that support the elevation of these indicators should be valued, and Knowledge Management (CG) is a way of promoting practices that increase the sharing of information and promote the collectivization of knowledge and organizational procedures, thus supporting quality. Although it is a subject in emphasis in the field of research, its study and deepening in the academic environment of higher education is still insipient, especially when correlated with other elements or organizational practices. Based on this scenario, the research proposes to evaluate the relationship of CPCs results with the perception of good practices of Knowledge Management in higher education institutions. This is an applied, descriptive exploratory research, with the application of a questionnaire proposed by Terra (2000) that seeks to evaluate seven dimensions pertinent to knowledge management. The research environment will be composed of three higher education institutions operating in Natal / RN, and will be characterized as a multiple case study. It is hoped that the research will present answers about the relationship of the researched elements, and these may favor the improvement of the quality of organizational practices in the institutions involved, in addition to contributing to the elevation of quality in higher education.
