RESUMO:

The Brazilian Post-Graduation has acquired more and more notoriety regarding the indicators of scientific production, graduates, courses and programs. To verify students' satisfaction is of fundamental importance for HEIs, as it contributes to a reflection on teaching methods as well as to subsidize policies and practices to improve the quality of courses. In this context, the present study aims to identify the factors that determine the satisfaction of students of stricto sensu post-graduate courses in production engineering in Brazil. The theoretical basis is based on the discussion between the subjects: Satisfaction, satisfaction barometers, postgraduate teaching and Modeling of Structural Equations. As for the methodological aspects, this study is characterized as a qualitative-quantitative research, the collection of data will be national, and will be carried out through a survey applied with students regularly enrolled in the 30 postgraduate courses stricto sensu registered and evaluated by the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Level Personnel (CAPES) in Brazil. The analysis of the data will be developed with the use of Structural Equation Modeling, method chosen because it is appropriate for the global analysis of a model, since it generates a confirmatory analysis that allows the representation of unobservable concepts, verifying possible errors of During the process. As expected results, it is sought to verify if the European Model of Satisfaction - ECSI is adequate to gauge the satisfaction of postgraduate students in Brazil as well as the relationship between latent factors that influence student satisfaction. This project was structured in four parts: introduction, literature review, methodological procedures and, finally, the partial considerations of the study are presented, with the expected results, limitations of the search and schedule.
