RESUMO:

The current economic slowdown in Brazil has directly impacted the construction sector, generating sales decline and profits reduction. Even so, the market is characterized by intense competition and increasingly demanding consumers. This has driven the construction redefine their production systems to improve operations, increase production performance and, thus, stand out against competitors. In this context, this research aims to implement tools of lean manufacturing in the construction of a residential building and achieve a dynamic modeling in networks to identify the ideal state processes - without waste and at the pace of customer demand - and compare them with the way that they are currently running. For this, it uses the Value Stream Mapping and the Dynamic Data Envelopment Analysis with Network structure in four building processes over five weeks. From this, it identifies ways to make leaner and more efficient processes. These improvement opportunities are structured in a plan to implement the actions proposed in order to increase the competitiveness of a company in the construction industry.
