EVALUATION OF PARKS TECHNOLOGICAL EFFICIENCY OF BRAZIL WITH APPLICATION DATA ENVELOPMENT ANALYSIS NETWORK - NDEA
Technology parks. Data envelopment analysis. Location.
This study aims to evaluate the overall efficiency and sub-processes of innovation and commercialization of Brazilian products and technology centers. Specifically, it is intended by the use of the technique Network Data envelopment analysis (NDEA), determine which technology parks are efficient or inefficient and, of these, analyze the location factors. The research is designed as quantitative and qualitative by presenting both the measurement data found as the characterization of the object of study technology parks in Literature Review. This work will use a Survey and data will be collected through a questionnaire applied to Brazilian technological parks. Such data serve as basis for the Network Technical Data envelopment analysis (NDEA) and the analysis location. The population includes 28 technology parks in operation in Brazil. The results will be presented in two stages: Stage I - efficiency analysis of technological parks and stage II - location analysis for inefficient technology parks. The results will point the efficient technology parks and inefficient, proposals for improvements and diagnostics for such environments, in addition to analyzing the location for Brazilian technological parks inefficient.
