SUMMARY:

The submission of research projects to the Research Ethics Committees (CEP) is the standard and mandatory process in Brazil for researchers responsible for research projects involving human beings. The National Research Ethics Commission (CONEP) regulates research in Brazil through regulations, legislation, and relevant guidelines for good standardization in research processes: resolutions 466/2012 and 510/2016 for research with human beings and other complementary rules. However, it is not uncommon for researchers, especially beginners, to face doubts when organizing the research project for such submission, which currently takes place nationwide on the Plataforma Brazil, and, when the project is carried out in any University Hospitals of the Ebserh Network, also on the Research Network Platform. Considering that the uniformity of guidelines for researchers can minimize the return of projects with pendency of the documentary type and ethical obstacles, the present study proposes to develop as a product, a multimedia guide of good practices for forwarding research projects, considering as a study universe, researchers from a University Hospital of the Ebserh Network. In addition, research will be carried out with the development of a permanent advisory service to researchers at the hospital. Thus, this is a mixed-type study, with a methodological approach, for product and experimental development, with control and experimental groups. Questionnaires designed to understand the researcher's perception of project submission processes and research ethics will be applied to assess the advisory process. As a result, it is expected to produce educational content, available on the teaching and research management page, assisting researchers in submitting projects to CEP and GEP to improve researchers' knowledge and cooperate for greater speed of research processes in the referred hospital, with the possibility of scaling the product to other Ebserh branches.
