SUMMARY:

This study focuses on Permanent Health Education (EPS) for professionals from the Unified Health System (SUS). This is a descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, with a transversal temporality and with an action-research proposal. This study aims to develop educational resources on the nutritional approach in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for SUS professionals, through Telehealth. The research was carried out in a virtual environment, through the application of a digital questionnaire following the recommendations of the General Data Protection Law and circular nº 2/2021/CONEP/CNS/MS. The data collection period took place in May 2023, the sample of the study population was chosen for convenience and involved nutritionists working in the Multiprofessional Primary Care Teams (eMulti), former Support Center for Family Health and Primary Care ( NASF-AB), present in an instant messaging application group. Initially, a literature review and situational diagnosis were carried out through the application of a semi-structured questionnaire. Within the questionnaire, three open questions were sent about the challenges and interests of nutritionists about ASD, these responses will serve as the basis for the elaboration of a course and a web lecture on the learning platform of the Unified Health System (AVASUS). The open responses of the questionnaire were analyzed using the IRAMUTEQ software, through content analysis through word clouds and similarity analysis. Closed questions were analyzed using the SPSS for Windows program, version 18.0 (SPSS Inc. Chicago, United States) and Excel (2007), only for the elaboration of expanded summaries, in which basic statistics were extracted, only at that moment the choice was made. if by a quantitative-qualitative approach. The study pointed out that there is a lack of interaction between multidisciplinary teams to share knowledge and a high demand for courses and training regarding knowledge involving nutrition in autism. Having food selectivity as the theme of greatest interest, followed by supplementation, nutritional therapy and food allergy. Subsequently, the course and web lecture will be produced on the AVASUS platform, and disseminated on the websites and social networks of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), the Laboratory of Technological Innovation in Health (LAIS), the Department of Distance Education of UFRN (SEDIS), State Department of Public Health of Rio Grande do Norte (SESAP) partners in this study.
