SUMMARY:

Introduction: One of the biggest challenges for the Brazilian Public Health System (in Portuguese, Sistema Único de Saúde – SUS) is the integration of health surveillance (SV) and primary health care (PHC) actions within the scope of management. In other words, one of the SUS’s principles has not yet been adopted by all health entities, although several regulations and strategies have already been developed to encourage this action. During the years 2020 and 2021, the inclusion of institutional researchers in the state health secretariats, as part of the Syphilis response project, called “Syphilis No!” Project (in Portuguese Projeto “Sífilis Não”), brought up the theme of integration of PHC and SV as an institutional support strategy for implementing this theme in Brazilian states. The monitoring of actions makes it possible to follow the strategies adopted by each researcher, for integration of actions from planning to execution of activities. Objective: The objective of this work is to present the results of institutional support process for the integration of surveillance and primary health care actions within the scope of the Project “Sífilis Não”. Methodology: The work will be developed in some phases. In the first one, a literature review will be carried out on the theme of integration of PHC and SV actions. In the second phase, a tool will be developed to monitor the researchers’ actions in the territory. In the third phase, which consists of analyzing the records made by the researchers, the Natural Language technique will be used, in addition to the description of the records, to verify a speech pattern in the description of activities. Preliminary results: At this stage, 7,807 activities carried out by institutional researchers in the 26 Brazilian states and the Federal District were analyzed, 4,035 of which are carried out by researchers from VS and 3,772 from APS. Researchers from the state of Sergipe carried out a total of 633 activities to support the process of integrating surveillance and primary care actions. The month of August/2020 had the highest number of activities carried out (1,099). The monitoring panel was developed using Google's datastudio tool.
