Educational resources mediated by technology for permanent education of healthcare professionals: A systematic review

Introduction: Information and Communication Technologies (ICT’s) directly contribute to process improvements and especially when inserted in teaching. With the expansion of ICT’s, forms of training and updating health professionals are being modified, improved and gaining prominence through technology-mediated education. Objective: To summarize the educational resources of technology-mediated education that contribute to the training and permanent education of health professionals, through a systematic review. Methodology: Systematic review with search strategy in the electronic databases PUBMED, LILACS, SCOPUS, WEB OF SCIENCE, the articles included in the last 5 years (2016-2020) in Portuguese, English and Spanish addressing resources mediated by technology in training health professional. Results: The search found a total of 4,724 were exported and inserted in the Rayyan platform, 834 articles were excluded because they were duplicated. After that, the titles were read, leaving a total of 62 articles, these were read from the title and summary, with 41 remaining, which were read in full, as a final result, 09 articles were included in this review. Conclusion: It is concluded that the use of resources mediated by technology is effective in the training processes of health professionals, with emphasis on videos, educational modules and clinical case studies.
