SUMMARY:

Studies show that the health sector in Brazil is a prominent sector in the country's current scenario, mainly due to the population's dissatisfaction with the services provided. This sector is under continuous pressure to improve services and patient safety, as well as reducing costs, waiting times, and errors. Faced with this problem, the desire to use agile management methodologies (Lean Six Sigma and Lean Healthcare) was born with the aim of improving the efficiency of the assistance processes of university hospitals linked to the EBSERH network. Lean principles are aimed at improving the quality of patient care. Its objective is to eliminate waste and ensure greater attention in the provision of care, through the system of continuous improvement. This project aims to design an EducaLean course offered through distance learning distance learning material, inserted in the AVASUS education platform, for EBSERH network professionals and other health workers, with an interest in the continuous improvement of processes hospital assistance. The course will present the fundamental principles of Lean Six Sigma that support modern approaches to continuous improvement in health. The product was designed using the DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design and Verify) methodology of the For Lean Six Sigma design to understand the problem in question using Lean Six Sigma tools such as Ishikawa diagram, pareto evaluation, Sipoc, value flow mapping, among others. The methodological approach to be used in the construction of the course was Design Thinking, which assists us in immersion and in the understanding of essential parameters and standards to create better quality solutions through four steps: immersion (understanding), ideation (creation), prototypical (test) and development (application). The benefits of implementing the project will be external and internal customers. It is expected to improve the efficiency of university hospitals with a much greater focus on people than on the mechanical process, providing, in addition to clinical results, an improvement in the efficiency of the care process.
