Given this, the Teaching Hospital of Lagarto was taken as the object of study in order to evaluate its technology management and major deficiencies.

Since 2015, when it was incorporated by the EBSERH network and started to receive incentives, mainly from the National Program for the Restructuring of Federal Teaching Hospitals (Rehuf), there has been a significant growth and renovation of the hospital's technology park with voluminous replacements of hospital medical equipment. equipment replacement process, process or policy has been implemented or used.
