SVSBOX, A SYSTEM DEDICATED TO HEALTH SURVEILLANCE
Syphilis in Brazil; Health surveillance; Health information system; Situation room
The definition created by the Brazilian government on health rights is in force in Law No. 8080, of September 19, 1990, called the Organic Health Law, which shows the groups of actions aimed at the capture or knowledge, detection or use of any change in the factors that determine and condition individual or collective health. However, the problem faced by Member States is a fragmentation of the Ministry of Health's existing databases. This fragmentation gives health officials access to each of these systems to obtain useful information for combating epidemics and endemics in Brazil. Thus, the work seen develop a technology solution, embedded hardware and software, which can include all databases of health interest in a unique environment where there is no information as correlated and available for manager analysis. To achieve the objective of this work, this research was divided into four main stages: Review of the literature on Health Surveillance in Brazil; developing a workflow and gathering requirements that meet tax requirements; and develop and develop SVSBOX. As a result, use a technology solution with embedded hardware and software, based on information gathered, using consolidated information or data from various health statistics databases, to generate information for decision making. It can be concluded that the developed system can integrate data from selected health databases in a single environment, based on pre-selected indicators, optimizing and generating relevant and accurate information through indicators. The dedicated health testing system SVSBOX provides data and information analysis that enables decision-making and short-term attack applications.
