SUMMARY:

During corona virus pandemic (COVID-19) outbreak, in-person schooling was suspended and new strategies to record children´s activities were developed, in order to communicate and share with their families all educational process evolution. Demonstrate how children and adults learn during pandemic times and how to use digital technology to record their school´s activities were the main motivational aspects in this research. By doing so, this research has as its main goal to evaluate all digital information and communication technology (DICT) were used for development of pedagogical documentation, as a formative assessment tool for teachers in childhood education. Practical methodology was used in this study, based on qualitative approach as expected in action research and intervention process. This research is being conducted in a childhood school, located at Parnamirim city, state of Rio Grande do Norte, which the responsible researcher work as pedagogical principal nowadays. The research group is composed by 08 participants, 06 of those are teachers, 01 is pedagogical coordinator and 01 is administrative principal. During this research we used some tools as: pool forms, group interviews, personal documents, school diary from teachers involved in this research and board diary from researcher responsible. During this research we developed and applied a course direct in their school context, for 40 hours divided as virtual and in-person classes, with practical tasks on both. We intend to develop a didactical book guide content strategies to maximize the use of pedagogical documents by using digital tools. For the production of this research some important authors were read as: Alarcão (2011), Fochi (2018; 2019), Kramer (2002; 2006), Kenski (2012), Malaguzzi (2016), Nóvoa (2009; 2019), Oliveira-Formosinho (2002; 2016), Ostetto (2011; 2017), Proença (2018; 2022) e Rinaldi (2014; 2016; 2021). Some appointments found so far indicates that: a) Due to the suspension of in-person schooling, new ways to record students development were used, most of it by using digital tools; b) With the new ways to notice the students advance, also the way to look to students changed, and a bond with their families were created; c) Using technology created new educational practices; d) The lack of another teacher or auxiliary teacher on remote classes, made the records more difficult to do; e) pedagogical documentation is a possible practice, but new conceptions and a new point of view from teachers are necessary. Our intention, in the end, is to contribute with new record practices and pedagogical documentation in childhood education, also helping teachers in their professional development, adding value to teachers and pedagogical coordinator work.
