SUMMARY:

The theoretical-methodological guidelines of the National Curriculum Matrix (MCN) emphasize that the programs and plans of training courses and professional development of military police officers dialogue between Articulating Axes and Thematic Areas, seeking to create a unity between theory and practice. With this, it seeks to guide training practices for public security, advocating didactic actions using Active Methodologies as an educational innovation such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This has the same didactic-pedagogical principles observed by the MCN, emerging problem situations with significant professionals for the police, valuing their experiences and their previous knowledge. Based on these guidelines, a training itinerary will be developed for police instructors using the PBL, following the steps of Contextualized Instructional Design as a programmatic resource that will raise the physical, organizational and cultural aspects of the peculiarities of local police training, knowing the trainers themselves. As methodological procedures, this research is in the field of exploratory type, as a case study method with a qualitative emphasis, covering a bibliographic survey, interviews, application of questionnaires and document analysis. The training actions aim to develop the skills of trainers for the use of the active methodology Problem-Based Learning as a teaching and learning strategy in the Training and Improvement Courses for military police officers.
