SUMMARY:

Society has undergone great and rapid changes in recent times. Digital information and communication technologies have evolved in a short period, which directly affects the dynamics of society, which develops habits and customs being guided by a more immediate pace. This society that has been built is called by Vallejo (2007) the Information Society (IS). Thus, the present research starts from the hypothesis that relating this need of teachers and the entire school community to adapt not only to the new rhythm of society, but the inclusion of all, in particular, in the teaching of mathematics, may favor effective learning in the context of deaf education. Thus, after joining the Master in Innovations in Educational Technologies, I sought to deepen my studies on Educational Technologies, Active Methodologies, Teaching and Learning Process for the Deaf Student, Inclusive Mathematics, Learning Paths and Training (initial or continuing) for teachers , to organize my research problem: What are the aspects to be considered to develop digital trails of mathematics learning, developed in an accessible perspective, so that they can contribute to the practice of teachers who teach mathematics in Elementary School, in the context of deaf education ? This question circumscribes others: Can statistics education for deaf students be developed from accessible digital learning paths? Can the digital paths of mathematics learning, developed in an accessible perspective, contribute to the practice of teachers who teach mathematics in Elementary School, in the context of deaf education? What activities would include an accessible digital learning path focusing on deaf users? How can teachers in the early years of elementary school experience the trail to use with their deaf students? The understanding of accessible digital learning paths as a tool for the transformation of practices for the development of the statistical literacy of deaf students is the main guideline of my object of study. Therefore, this investigation has the general objective: Develop digital trails of mathematical learning for the appropriation of statistical concepts by deaf students in the early years of elementary school. And, more specifically, I want to: Investigate the aspects that must be taken into account when planning the teaching of Statistics for deaf students; Develop a self-instructional training for teachers of classes in the early years of elementary school who experienced the activities of digital learning trails accessible to the deaf; Validate the usability of the trails through the analysis of diagnostic and evaluative activities with deaf teachers and teachers who teach mathematics; Make available on the OBAMA Platform the activities of accessible digital learning trails. For the design of the research, theoretical-methodological tools of Instructional Design will be applied in the pedagogical conception of digital paths of mathematical learning, aiming at the integration of TDIC in the pedagogical practice of teachers who teach mathematics.
