SUMMARY:

Considering the relevant presence of educational resources and technologies, especially digital ones, in our schools and classrooms, one that has stood out is that of digital games, especially those built to be used for educational purposes. As a result, we have noticed a growing demand for training and a need to prepare teachers, especially in basic education, not only for the pedagogical use but also for the construction of these digital educational resources, since they are the professionals who deal daily with and know the reality of schools and students. Thus, starting from the problem of preparing elementary school teachers to participate in teams of digital games development, so that they can act in the construction of short digital games aligned to the Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC), this work aims to train elementary school teachers to build short Digital Educational Games aligned to the BNCC. To this end, we intend to build an open and massive online course based on the ADDIE instructional design model, so that we can contribute to the development of competencies and skills related to the construction of digital educational games in educators in the basic education segment.
