In view of the great importance of moving for children, movement should be part of the experience at school, becoming a constructive part of learning (HILDEBRANDT-STRAMANN, 1999). This training process is not only linked to cognitive learning, but also to the sense and the body (HILDEBRANDT-STRAMANN, 2005).
According to Reiner Hildebrand, up to the present day, the problem of schools has not been solved, in thinking about teaching as a whole, body and mind. In this process there is a gross separation between the head (of thinking) and the rest of the body.
In order to be able to harness interdisciplinarity and movement, to break this barrier of separation of body and mind, we seek the possibility of validating a wearable device capable of perceiving the child's movements in order to generate an interaction in real time with digital dynamics that stimulate the same.
The project seeks to develop a prototype of a wearable, low cost, to help children in teaching, involving the physical interaction of children. From this perspective, immerse the child in a playful digital environment with activities that develop the expected skills, linked to the wearable, where movements interact with them.
To facilitate the discussion, this work has as theoretical foundation: Learning Based on Digital Games, combined with physical exercises and the School in Movement.
It is expected that the device contributes positively to the education of children, making the interdisciplinary concepts sought in the dynamics and body scheme to be well understood and experienced, in addition to other benefits added to its application. However, the device will seek to make children more stimulated and active in the process, as well as helping teachers to deal with learning as a whole, body and mind. Proposing children to stop being mere consumers and become protagonists of their own knowledge, actively participating in activities and dynamics created for Wearable.
