SUMMARY:

Amid the guidelines brought by the official documents that lead to new pedagogical practices, teaching still presents itself in a traditional approach in many schools throughout Brazil. There is no interaction between the subjects, the students remain as listeners without any role during the teaching and learning process. As a conducting teacher in the computer lab and trained in Geography, we wondered how we could break with this disciplinary conception, in order to integrate areas of knowledge, teachers and students with the help of TDIC, seeking to promote greater integration in the teaching-learning process. . How to involve teachers in the early years of elementary school to innovate their pedagogical practices, through interdisciplinary teaching, with Geography as a starting point? These concerns motivated us to carry out a research that will be developed at Escola Municipal Luiz Carlos Guimarães; with a qualitative basis, it presents characteristics of an action - research, because in addition to seeking to understand a situation, it seeks to intervene in order to modify it. As a general objective, the research aims to develop an interdisciplinary methodological proposal based on meaningful learning for teachers in the early years of elementary school, with Geography and Google Maps as an integration link. As specific objectives we seek i) To identify difficulties and interests of teachers for innovation in their practices; ii) Elaborate a didactic sequence, articulating the contents of the different disciplines and starting from the children's daily lives with the use of the Google Maps tool; iii) Test it with 4th grade students and teacher; iv) Adjust and validate the sequence with students and teachers; v) Produce a “GEOINTEGRA” didactic guide for teachers from the public school system in Parnamirim. In this way, we will use as instruments of data collection, questionnaires applied to teachers, conversation with students, in addition to the records made during the application of the didactic sequence. With this research, it is expected to show that it is possible to develop new pedagogical practices that are more significant in the teaching and learning process of children in the public school system in the municipality of Parnamirim / RN.
