SUMMARY:

The elderly population in the world has been growing gradually. One estimate is that in 2060 a quarter of the population in Brazil will be made up of elderly people (IBGE, 2018). This refers to the need to create actions to encourage assistance and insertion of the elderly population in all fields of activity. In no context of digital inclusion, public institutions have been constituting education programs for the elderly, mostly through classroom courses, such as the Instituto Metrópole Digital - IMD, with the Extension Project for Digital Inclusion for the Elderly - ProEIDI, which semiannually teaches basic computer content and use of smartphones. However, based on surveys carried out with the elderly, the same users will continue to be inserted in the educational environment, seeking to participate again in the course, or to reduce the offer of places, compromising the reach of training and creating threats for research learning. Thus, there is a research problem in question: how to keep the elderly learned after a digital inclusion course? A problem related to the following research question: can the use of conversational agents favor complementary training after face-to-face digital inclusion courses for the elderly? Thus, this work has the general objective: to develop a model of interaction with chatbot on smartphones to train to complement the distance in the digital inclusion of the elderly. To achieve this objective, a bibliographic survey was carried out, a systematic review was carried out and the creation of software architecture and design. A research presents a character applied with the methodology of qualitative approach, being validated with completed students of the course, through application and distance monitoring. The validation of the results will be applied in the analysis of the artifact and in the contribution of the research through usage reports and questionnaires, using the measurement of the application and identifying the aspects of use and interaction.
