Technological resources have been increasingly used in distance education due to the advances of the new tools and the spread of broadband in terms of national territorial coverage. Its potential for interactivity and access to human-human-machine-human interactions promises, once and for all, to facilitate the teaching-learning process within virtual learning environments. With the popularization of AVA's (Virtual Learning Environment), the use of these systems has become a necessary tool for the intermediation of the process and for the optimization of the information / data that transits there daily. Among the environments available in the market, I highlight Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment), because it is a free and open source system, which allows the incorporation of new tools. In addition to having a large number of employees in your community. However, it can be seen that Moodle, in its current set-up, still suffers from the absence of native tools that allow learning with a greater degree of interactivity and that contemplates a greater power of action and reaction of the users. In this way, the work will be developing a proposal for a self-instructional course for teacher training, which will use two external "h5p" plugins and the "recordRTC" in order to achieve high levels of user engagement and motivation. In this work, besides the process of creation of the self-instructional and high-level course, we will also present the results of its use for the training of teachers of undergraduate courses of the distance education secretariat of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte.
