SUMMARY:

There is a massive scientific production of educational software, both in games and offline or online platform programs. The production of these tools tends to be prioritized above the reflection of their uses and applications, all because of the growing need for student contact with educational technologies. In addition, a number of studies that propose to evaluate these tools have their use validated by the same software for which they were designed, which causes a noticeable decrease in visualization of the applicability of these assessment instruments. Taking these aspects into consideration, this paper aims to construct and validate a tool for evaluating educational software for literacy and literacy, based on the progressive character of the skills of the Rio Grande do Norte Curriculum Document aimed at this end. As a methodological way, in this work, we intend to: 1) investigate the software commonly used in situations of literacy and literacy; 2) adapt section of the assessment tool for educational software in accordance with the DCERN Knowledge Objects for Literacy; 3) validate with the group of researchers in the areas of computing and education; 4) apply with teachers of Basic Education the assessment instrument developed; and 5) evaluate the results obtained. This work intends to implement the built instrument, providing peer educators with a useful tool in the selection of educational software.
