RESUMO:

Distance Learning enables a new form of access to education and provides for the democratization of education. The educational possibilities in Distance Learning expand the ways of teaching and learning. Considering the new educational landscape, postgraduate educational institutions are redirecting efforts towards technology-mediated teaching, seeking advantages in a hybrid teaching model. The Brazilian Air Force has also sought to improve the education system to ensure effectiveness in the post-training of its military personnel. In this context, work was initiated in the Grupo de Instrução Tática e Especializada (GITE), Brazilian Air Force teaching organization, composed of educators and military personnel with technical knowledge for a process of transposition of courses from classroom education to distance learning. During the course of the transposition process of the courses, the elaboration of didactic materials stood out as the most controversial item that generated countless discussions so that they could supply the absence of the teacher through a dialogic language. In this way, challenges need to be overcome, among them, the contentists select concepts for the production of teaching materials that can circulate on the Internet, considering that, because it is the military, some concepts are reserved and cannot have a circulation in the computer network. Given these discussions, the research problem is centered on the challenges of instructional design to produce teaching materials for the military. The objective of this work is to improve the teaching materials production model of the Grupo de Instrução Tática e Especializada . The work methodology will have a qualitative approach of applied nature to the formation of knowledge for problem solving from the analysis of GITE didactic material, bibliographic research of authors on Distance Learning and documents that deal with the modality of Distance Learning in the Brazilian Air Force. To obtain more reliable data, we will consider quantitative approach data from a questionnaire with the content writers who developed the didactic materials, considering that the approaches carry complementary natures. The data from the analysis will substantiate the research and as a result we intend to elaborate a guide of didactic material for distance courses of GITE contributing to the reasoning of the contents of the teaching unit of the Brazilian Air Force.
