RESUMO:

This work aims to analyze the potential of hypermedia in the teaching-learning of French language from the production of digital magazine. The proposal of practical insertion of technological tools in the educational context assumes an innovative character in the approach of teaching writing and orality in a foreign language, considering the possibilities that these tools provide. In this perspective, we adopted the digital magazine as a medium in which we can explore written and oral productions, since it allows the user to write text, insert recorded audio or video, insert images or photos made from a cell between other possibilities. Thus, to insert the digital magazine as a textual genre means to change the context of teaching, allowing the teacher and students a new methodology of teaching and learning. With the production of the digital magazine in media convergence, it is intended to identify the advantages of using hypermedia in teaching-learning, to evaluate how media convergence impacts oral and written productions, and to analyze how sound, visual and verbal matrices in this production. The theoretical foundation that will be the basis for this practice will be Lucia Santaella (2013) and its approach on the convergence of media and on the matrices of language and thought: sound, visual and verbal; Luiz Antônio Marcuschi (2010) and Mikhail Bakhtin (2006) regarding textual and digital genres; and some authors who discuss the insertion of ICT in teaching and learning as Almeida & Valente (2011), Baranauskas et al (1999), Morán (2015) and others. The methodology will have a qualitative character through action research for its interventionist aspect. The platform used will be Joomag (edition and publication of magazines in virtual environment), which allows wide possibilities in the production of digital magazines. The interview will be used as instruments of collection and the analysis of the final production of the students - the digital magazine. The subjects of this intervention research will be students of the language courses of a Natal / RN institution.
