In the context of solarimetric survey, one of the instruments used for the measurement of solar irradiance is the pyranometer. This instrument is traditionally implemented using optical or thermal sensors. The former has a rapid response and spectral limitation while the second has a slow but broad-spectrum response. In order to circumvent problems related to thermal thermopile sensors, the use of thermorresistive sensors is proposed. Among these, there are the metallic and thermistors sensors. The classic architecture for incident radiation measurement is that which operates at constant temperature using Wheatstone bridge. However, this architecture has some limitations, mainly due to the variation in ambient temperature. In this work, an architecture is proposed based on the Wheatstone Bridge, in which the temperature difference between the sensor with the environment is controlled by a microcontroller. Thus, it is expected to improve the characteristics of the instrument such as sensitivity, dynamic response and the output voltage range. To this end, a study on the behavior of the sensors is presented, based on the static characteristics, dynamic and thermodynamic balance. The preliminary analyses were performed in the SPICE and Simulink environments and are compared to the ones in the literature in order to validate the proposed architecture. An experimental assembly of the proposed system is envisioned to the proper validation of the architecture.
