RESUMO:

The use of wireless technologies has become essential in the daily lives of thousands of users. In recent years, the massive use of devices using such technologies has boosted industry and research. Among the various technologies, Wi-Fi, defined and structured by the IEEE 802.11 standard, provided users with low-cost access and high data throughput. A new standard, 802.11x, has been emerging to raise 802.11 to a new level, promising to offer faster connection in the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz bands using OFDM, up to 1024 QAM and multi-user MIMO. Thus, the objective of this work is to synthesize dual-band microfine antennas, enabling each frequency to be optimized and operated individually, meeting the basic specifications of the new 802.11ax standard and later enabling the construction of Multiband structures of any other two, or more, combinations of operating frequencies desired in design, in a simple and systematic way. In the work, numerical and experimental results are presented for the return loss and radiation pattern. A comparison is made between the initially proposed structure and the 802.11 standard structures seen in the literature. Finally, the future steps for determining the optimum structure to be used at the end of the work are described.
