RESUMO:

In modern wireless communication systems information signals must be transmitted with high reliability and high data rates. One of the possible solutions employed by wireless systems to achieve the desired transmission criteria is the use of multiple transmitting and/or receiving antennas and data processing techniques appropriate to the multiple communication channels established by the multiple antennas. These systems are generically referred to as Multiple Input - Multiple Output (MIMO) Systems and are being considered for the development of new communication standards, including 5G cellular networks and cognitive radios. Due to the high transmission rates and the predominance of urban communication environments, MIMO systems are subject to time-varying channels characterized by multiple-path fading, Doppler shifts and impulsive noise. In this work, spectral detection and spectral sensing techniques are proposed in MIMO systems on channels characterized by these interferences. The proposed reception technique is a generalization of the MLD detector for channels characterized by impulsive noise through the use of correntropia. The proposed sensing technique is based on the processing of cycle-non-stationary processes, and employs a cyclostationary analysis joint in the temporal-angular domain. The proposed techniques are analyzed on channels with time-varying fading, impulsive noise and Doppler shifts.
