Received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Maranhão (Brazil), in 2005, 2007 and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Pierre & Marie Curie, Paris VI, France in 2012. In 2013, he was a post-doctoral research scientist at the University of Pierre & Marie Curie, working on design of analog integrated circuits for RF ADC based on bandpass Sigma-Delta Modulators.
Dr. Belfort is currently an Assitant Professor at Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, Brazil.

Sigma-Delta modulation, ADC converters, Design Automation, Analog/Mixed circuits, RF circuit design, Filter design, Instrumentation and Measurement.
