SUMMARY:

Biological rhythms play a cyclical expression in living beings because, since ancient times, they coexist with cyclical processes in the environment. This expression is evident in behavioral and physiological activities for every living being, from bacteria to mammals. Considering that biological rhythms are universal phenomena, and occur in all living beings, this learning is necessary in the curricular components of basic education, making it essential to understand the physiological and behavioral functioning of organisms, as well as their functionality synchronized with environmental factors. . Relationships with astronomical cycles as synchronization factors on infradian, ultradian and circadian rhythms of some organisms. Therefore, this research proposes to strengthen the dialogue between the natural sciences disciplines in an interdisciplinary way through a course proposal for public school teachers who teach classes in the natural sciences segment for elementary school II, with training in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
