RESUMO:

The development of biofuels that ends a cycle of dependence on fossil fuels are environmental friendly, economically profitable and with a high capacity for regeneration with projects fomented studies around routes that allow the production of biodiesel on a large scale and with rate conversion rate. Heterogeneous catalysis has been a promising area in this sense, and a major challenge is the development of catalysts that present adequate chemical properties and reaction to the production of fuels. In this sense, this work aims to develop mesoporous molecular sieves doped with transition metals of mixed oxide product obtained from the purified mineral of these metals, being made the study of three routes of synthesis and evaluating the conditions of each, and apply them in the heterogeneous catalysis of the methyl esterification of fatty acids present in vegetable oils. The synthesized materials  are characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray fluorescence (FRX), infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric (TG / DTA) and physical adsorption of N2 (BET method). The catalytic tests will be occur in a stirred batch reactor with controlled temperature, also varying the acid/alcohol ratio, catalyst concentration and reaction time. The capacity of reuse and regeneration of the catalysts used must also be evaluated.
