RESUMO:

Among the waste from the oil and gas production operations is the water production commonly called produced water (PW) is the that most prominent wastwater because of its large volume and its toxic chemical composition. It effluent which excels by virtue of its volume and toxic chemical composition. There are several types of chemical treatment, physical, physico- chemical and biological that can be combined to better efficiency in wastewater treatment. The main objective of the work was to evaluate technically, the integration of filtration, adsorption and photo-Fenton of the removal of oils and greases Total (TOG) and total organic carbon (TOC) present in the PW. The processes were first studied individually in the final together. The combined process consisted of using a sand filter with mixed grain size (12/16 mesh, 36 mesh, 20/28 mesh and 12/16 mesh), activated carbon column (activated carbon from babaçu coconut shell) and the last step was the photo - Fenton process using a photochemical reactor 400 W mercury vapor lamp. In this step the synthetic effluent was prepared from a mixture of components (NaCl, phenol, heptane, xylene, distilled water and oil 1 (15 and 22 API °) using agitator (Turratec / Tecnal) for better homogenization was shaked for 20 minutes at 18000 rpm. The initial effluent was passed into the filter and adsorption column continuously until obtaining 6L treated effluent, then the effluent was taken to the reactor photochemical to degrade the remaining contaminants of the prior processes. Considering the reduction of the TOG the combined process efficiency was 98.8%, only the filtration reduced 90%. With regard to TOC reduction the overall efficiency of the combined process it was 99%, with the steps of adsorption and photo-Fenton the greater efficiency the combination of filtration processes, absorption and photo - Fenton was effective both in reducing the TOG as the TOC reduction of the produced water.
